GameCube Internal Bluetooth Kit ‘v3’ In Stock

Greg from LaserBear has just just started selling a new version of his internal bluetooth kit for the Nintendo GameCube.  This allows for up to 4 bluetooth controllers to be connected, but also retains functionality for wired GC controllers as well.  This kit requires minimal installation, but offers features plug & play BT adapters can’t, such as remotely powering the console.  Check out more info below the links:

There’s a few changes in this updated version.  First, the controller ports are now fully 3D-printed, for supply chain / cost issues.  Next, these boards also include an embedded antenna, which perform the same as the external ones.  Neither of these changes should affect functionality, but it’s worth noting that v3 kits are slightly different.  And one more thing to note, is Switch 2 Controllers are not currently supported and that includes the GameCube NSO controller. Support for them is being worked on, but may take time as these new controllers have different modes.

Also, this project is still based off Darthcloud’s open source Blueretro platform, that offers some of the lowest bluetooth latency ever recorded when used with a fast controller.  This is a great option for people who want a clean look to their GC, while also connecting wireless BT controllers.

If you’d like more info and footage of this adapter in use, check out a video Tito from Macho Nacho Productions did awhile back – Its on the previous version, but everything in the video should still be relevant:
