A vertically-scrolling, arcade-style action homebrew game for the Sega Master System called Astro Climber is now available to download. It’s made by developer BadComputer0, who’s previously released a game called Frontier Force, as well as a demo of an upcoming game Razing Core. Astro Climber also features music by Polaria Poyon and I believe that like Razing Core, it’s also being developed using devkitSMS by sverx. I’m always a fan of new-retro games, plus I have a soft-spot for the SMS, so BadComputer0’s work definitely catches my attention. If you’re also an SMS fan, definitely check it out! Who knows, if it’s popular enough, maybe a physical version will be made, like they did with Frontier Force?
