The short summary is the MSI one is the cheapest OLED display out there and performs better than it’s price tag. The Acer was better, so if 1440p is your goal and you have the extra cash, get that one. And the LG was absolutely stunning in both 4K240 and 1080p480 modes. Seriously, if you have the money to spend, that display is just nuts. And hopefully, this video explains all of that pretty clearly, as well as demonstrates how retro gamers can really take advantage of all three. Including getting CRT-like motion using the RT4K…in a really dark room ;p
I’d love to have expanded these tests to more displays, but I just don’t have the budget. I don’t think any would “beat” the LG, I’m interested in how two choices from ASUS would compare, as well as Samsung…and a higher end MSI display. Maybe someday I can test each and do single follow-up videos?
